I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, where I attended Schuylkill Business Institute and Northern Tier Career Center. I obtained my Practical Nursing degree in 1994. During the years I have held several positions which have included community health, med-surg, pediatrics, and most recently hospice care. I have done many educational in-services at local LTC facilities which have covered many topics. I have enjoyed my nursing career and been able to take something positive and incorporate it into my daily life.
I moved to the Houston, TX area several years ago where I currently reside with my husband, son, and several pets. I also have a daughter who still resides in PA and enjoys a career as a LPN. I have many varied interests; horseback riding, beaches, motorcycle riding, museums, cooking, and reading are just a few. I plan to pursue a RN degree in the very near future. |
